Data

Posted November 3, 2011, by peter

Hey Valerie -- Thanks for the questions. As you can probably tell, this is a very low traffic, rather poorly designed web site ... but with some pretty amazingly useful and interesting content.

I have a long-term "to do" to revamp this site to make it useful.

Your question clarifies how I might redesign this site. So you have a question about using probiotic cream. You could search for that and see if anybody has posted something on it. I don't think so in this case.

In the glorious future of the site, maybe posting a question like that will go out to a bunch of people, some of whom would have used such a cream and be willing to share their experience with you.

I think there's probably sites like that. But I'm thinking that the way this site ought to work is: Step 1: You search and see if anybody has your answer. Step 2: You try it out yourself and post your results.

That is: try out your cream. Let us know how it works for you.

The amazing thing about the topic of human health is that each and every one of us is an expert and lab unto ourselves. That is, each us best knows what works for us and what doesn't.

And each of us can record data revealing the effects of health programs that we try out.

Someday, I'm going to revamp this site to center around: 1. Conversations and 2. Data.

Data is where you'd enter your results of using the cream.
